Rebecca Gillette, Guest Instructor
Rebecca grew up in Bel Air, Maryland, and graduated from Towson University. Her lifelong passion for music, movement, health, and fitness has led to a successful career as a fitness professional, where she has spent more than a decade inspiring and empowering clients throughout Baltimore and St. Mary’s County. As a certified Barre, Pilates, and Spin instructor, Rebecca brings a diverse and dynamic approach to fitness. Drawing from her background as both a dancer and athlete, she creates engaging classes that blend strength, precision, endurance, and artistry. Her teaching style emphasizes proper technique, body awareness, and functional movement while maintaining an energetic and supportive environment that encourages participants to challenge themselves and grow. Rebecca’s love of choreography and movement shines through in every class. Whether leading a Pilates session focused on core strength, breath work, balance, and alignment, a Barre class rooted in ballet-inspired movement and muscular endurance, or a high-energy Spin class designed to build cardiovascular fitness and power, she strives to create an experience that leaves participants feeling strong, confident, accomplished, and eager to return. Her broad range of certifications and teaching experience allows her to continually bring fresh ideas and creativity into her classes, ensuring that each session is both familiar and exciting while meeting the unique needs of her students. Rebecca has been a proud member of the Ballet Caliente family for nearly ten years through her daughter, Skylar, a member of the Junior Company. Having witnessed firsthand the dedication, discipline, and artistry required of young dancers, Rebecca is especially excited to share the benefits of Pilates with Ballet Caliente students. She looks forward to helping dancers build core strength, improve body awareness, enhance flexibility and control, and develop the physical foundation needed to support their training and performance goals. |
