Our Dance Philosophy
Welcome to Ballet Caliente Classical School of Dance!  
We are located in Lexington Park, Maryland and are
committed to teaching  the highest quality dance
technique to our students in a safe nurturing
environment.   We teach dance as an art form  while
ensuring students are taught proper technique with
careful consideration of body alignment and injury
prevention.

Classical training is an expression requiring
self-discipline, dedication, determination, devotion, and
years of practice.  Classical Ballet provides focus on the
fundamental skills and techniques that enable superior
performance in all other forms of dance.  In addition to
Ballet, our dancers have the option to broaden their
dance horizons by studying Jazz and Modern in addition
to their Ballet curriculum.

Registration Information
Registration for new students for our school year begins
in August.  
  • Our dance year begins in September after Labor
    Day.   
  • Late registration is on a space available basis until
    January.  
  • We also offer eight weeks of Summer Dance with
    registration beginning April for new students.  
  • Adult students may enroll in our adult ballet
    sessions throughout the year. For additional
    registration information and pricing please contact
    us.

Culminating Events
End of year events are a recital in May for our youngest
dancers, followed by a performance of an original story
ballet in June for our students in Primary Ballet and higher
levels.
