MINI INTENSIVES
Intended for ages 6-9, Mini Intensives will use a fun and imaginative syllabus to playfully introduce French ballet terminology, age-appropriate ballet technique, teamwork, self-discipline, and ballet etiquette, while focusing on a central theme each week.
We explore motor skills and musicality while encouraging creative thinking and a spirit of fun in the arts! Our young dancers will develop strength, flexibility, and coordination, and have daily fun with a craft!
Themes vary each week throughout the summer! As an added bonus, dancers in age group 6-9 will have the opportunity to perform for parents in a Petite Performance! These little performances will be held on Fridays, following the dancer's final class. Mini Intensives are conducted as morning, early afternoon OR late afternoon sessions.

Mini Intensive F.A.Q's
WHAT SHOULD MY DANCER WEAR TO SUMMER CLASSES?
We know that many new students join us during the summer! That's why our dress code is more relaxed during this time. Students may choose to wear their class leotard, if they are a returning dancer, or a leotard of their choice. All female dance students will need pink or skin-toned ballet slippers and pink or skin-toned tights as well. Boys should select black leggings (or form fitting black pants) and a white form-fitting shirt. More information on our year-round dress code can be found by clicking here.
If you have never shopped for ballet flats (slippers) before, please visit a dance store to ensure your student has the best brand/style for their feet. Hair must be in a bun, or pulled away from the face in a neat and tidy manner, for all classes.
WHAT DOES MY DANCER NEED FOR CLASS?
Please pack a water bottle and a light snack for your dancer each day.
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR FALL CLASSES?
Placement letters will be emailed at the end of July for all summer students. This will tell you which class level you should register your child for in August.
