Shannon Slaughter, Guest Instructor
Shannon Slaughter began her dance training at the age of five with Ballet Caliente. Later she taught at Ballet Caliente and was the Senior Captain.  She is a graduate of University of Florida where she continued her dance education at the UF College of Arts, School of Theatre and Dance. While at UF, she also taught classes, choreographed and performed pieces as a member of Floridance (the university’s original student-run dance company), as well as for her sorority’s dance team.

In addition to working full time, she continues to take ballet, contemporary, jazz, and dance fitness classes. She’s excited to be back with the Ballet Caliente family to share her love and passion for dance with students!
